What we are looking for…
We want talented, local applicants (Atlanta, GA) who value working in a casual and fun, yet professional, environment. We are a small focused team developing the next iteration of our platform, growing its scalability, security and maintainability by shifting from our current monolithic design to a microservices architecture. Because of this architectural change, we are looking for a Software Engineer that has familiarity with the microservice architecture pattern within a SAAS based application.
What you will be doing…
You will be developing API gateways, microservices and the interchange of data between our services, queues, users, and third-party API’s. Your primary focus will be developing services logic, definition and maintenance of each services database, development of unit tests for your code and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from our application.
What you bring…
An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years PHP/MySQL experience with conceptual knowledge of microservices architecture, you should be comfortable working in AWS where we are utilizing EC2/ECS, RDS, SQS and Redis and will use AWS CodeDeploy with GitHub and CircleCI for our CI/CD pipeline. Our platforms next iteration needs a forward-thinking developer who wants to grow their skills by helping us implement this architecture and add to it from their own experiences and what they learn as we move forward.
